Good News!

There is some good news this morning for those of us who had been advised we may have to be moved from the building because of the unsafe stairs.  Our Metro Councilman, Tony Tenpenny, called me this morning to advise he's been in contact with the Mayor's office and that the Metro codes department and UHS will work together to assure we are not displaced.  Councilman Tenpenny advised me the permits for the required work have been obtained and construction is expected to be complete within 30 days.  He also assured that he will monitor the situation to see that what's agreed on comes to pass.  Our heartfelt thanks go to Councilman Tenpenny for his efforts on our behalf.
